Half Price Books and the Environment

"I love your 'Go Bagless' idea. Most stores don't do anything like this. It makes me happy that y'all give back when we as customers choose to refuse a plastic bag. I bought one of your bags (who can pass up $.98 when most bags like that are $7 or more?!?), and then went back for 2 more. I use them everywhere. They are really strong and one of your bags holds what 3 or 4 plastic grocery bags will hold. I used 3 of the HPB bags, along with an insulated bag from Kroger for frozen stuff, to hold nearly $200 worth of groceries! I will probably get a fourth just to help lighten the load. I love carrying my bag into Target, Wal Mart, Kroger... any place that I shop. I refuse bags all over the place now, due in large part to your economical bag. I had priced bags before (as I have been attempting to go bagless myself already), and they are much pricier, plus shipping charges. Needless to say, I was quite happy to find your bag!"

"Back in October, I visited the San Antonio, Texas Half Price Books located at loop 410/San Pedro. I got a free Half Price Books green eco bag... Anyhow, I wanted to send this email to say how much I LOVE the eco bag. It is very light weight, holds plenty, stands upright...it's just the perfect bag and I use it all the time. I had other eco bags (purchased elsewhere) prior to receiving this bag and this bag is by far my favorite. I just wanted to drop this note to say a quick thanks for the bag."
