HALF PINT SCHOOLS

The Half Pint School division of the Half Pint Library program launched in 2003 as a way to teach children the importance of philanthropy and to raise new and gently used books for children in need. Local school librarians and administrators can register their school as an official Half Pint School by hosting a book drive on their campus to benefit their local Half Pint Library. The 2006 Half Pint School drive happens nationwide February 6 through 17. Start sprouting hope in your classrooms today.

ENROLL YOUR SCHOOL
To enroll, please fill out our online enrollment form. It provides us with some basic information, such as your school name, district and address, along with a contact name or book drive organizer. Once registered, you will receive a packet containing your Half Pint Library materials, detailed timeline of your book drive, and information needed to begin at your school campus. We look forward to having you on our team! Deadline to enroll your school is February 1, 2006.

WIN A GIFT CARD
Each year we honor and applaud the efforts of our best Half Pint philanthropists. At the end of the drive, HPB declares a winner in each market. Winning Half Pint Schools receive a Half Price Books Gift Card to stock up on books for their campus library.
