Half Price Books to Donate 50,000 Books To Oklahoma Elementary School Libraries
WHAT: In celebration of its first Oklahoma store, Half Price Books joined together with Feed the Children and the Oklahoma Education Association to provide Oklahoma elementary school libraries with more than 50,000 books. Elementary school teachers from 20 area school districts are invited to the Feed the Children Warehouse on Saturday, May 9 to receive the donations.
The new store, located at 6500 N. May Ave, occupies 9,800 square feet. The Grand Opening Celebration kicks off on Thursday, May 21 with a 20% Off Sale and will continue until Monday, May 25. Additionally, Half Price Books is giving free tote bags and $5 Half Price Books gift cards to the first 100 people and each day, one lucky shopper will win a $100 gift card. The store hours are 9 a.m. until 10 p.m. Monday-Saturday and 10 a.m.- 8 p.m. on Sunday.
