Half Price Books is pleased to offer you a limited license to use these Half Price Books images & logos, but does not transfer title in this artwork and its included Half Price Books trademarks the logo of Half Price Books, Records, Magazines, Incorporated.

Your use of the Half Price Books logo on your Website indicates you agree to the following terms of the Half Price Books Trademark License and of the Half Price Books Usage Guidelines.

1. The Half Price Books logo must be configured on your Website as an active link back to the Half Price Books web page at http://www.halfpricebooks.com/.

2. The Half Price Books Badge is intended solely for use and display in HTML on the World Wide Web. Do not use it in advertising/promotional materials, collateral, products, labels, packaging or any other printed material. If you or your organization wishes to use the Half Price Books Trademark for such purposes or in sponsorship of a non-profit organization, please send your request to Becky Gomez, Promotions Manager.

4. Your use of the Half Price Books logo acknowledges Half Price Books ownership of the artwork and the included trademarks and such use inures to the benefit of Half Price Books, Records, Magazines, Incorporated. Half Price Books grants you no other rights in the logo and the included trademarks than described herein. Any other use may be considered an infringement.

5. You may not use the logo or any Half Price Books trademark on a Web page which contains subject matter which Half Price Books may deem, at its sole discretion, in poor taste or to be disparaging to Half Price Books or its products or services.

6. Include the following credit line on the same Web page as the logo or on the page where you include other third party notices.

7. This license is revocable at Half Price Books sole discretion. If we find that you are not following the terms of this license or the Half Price Books Usage Guidelines, we will give you twenty-one (21) days after our electronic notice to either cure the violation or remove the artwork and link from your website. Half Price Books further reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to modify this license, the Usage Guidelines, or the image itself, or to terminate this entire program or any aspect of it. You will have thirty (30) days after electronic notice to conform to the new changes and/or guidelines.

Usage Guidelines

Credit Lines
Use the appropriate credit line with each Half Price Books logo or image.

Background and Clear Space
Minumum space: Keep the area around the Half Price Books logo clean and uncluttered. Clear space should measure at least .5x on all sides, where x equals the height of the logo. Do not use the logos or images as design elements or incorporate them into any other design, graphic, illustration, or logo. The preferred background color for Half Price Books logos is white or black. Avoid patterned backgrounds whenever possible.



Using Logos
Usage examples: Make sure that Half Price Books logos are smaller than and in a clearly subordinate position to your web page title and company name or logo. Do not use the Half Price Books logos in any way that might suggest that Half Price Books endorses or is responsible for the content of your web site.
